Anyone see the Bob Ross documentary on Netflix?

I'm not a fan of his painting, but the movie was interesting. It focuses on how his brother and son got totally screwed out of his estate and name. Pretty sad. He actually seemed like a good person.

His style was kind of schlocky but he did get a lot of people interested in painting for enjoyment and interested in art in general, which was a good thing. It seemed like he felt like popularizing painting was his mission, and his lack of attention to the business part of the enterprise ended up with the Kowalskis ripping off him and his surviving family, which continues to this day.

signed what he had over to the Kowalski's as did his wife. I feel for his son - he only wanted his father to be treated with respect. It is a good lesson about doing business though - the Kowalski's are sharks.

his son with less than majority authority. Because of his age. These things need to be regularly reviewed.
