Is that the town famous for their pottery? If so, I was there many years ago. Cute town as I recall.

(53,410 posts)You definitely caught the cuteness factor! This is a really nice painting in every way. I really like your tree too, including the shadow it casts on the ground. Youve really developed your rendition of trees a lot!
The flag waving in the breeze puts just the right finishing touch on your painting and brings it to life. I love the flowers on the window sills contrasting with the white building. The setting, with the shrubbery and the field is just lovely! The way you put in the shadow of the building on the grass is wonderful! Thanks for sharing this!

(53,410 posts)Great job on the entire painting. The scene just sparkles with your light highlights and your dark shadows. Its a very pleasing composition, and the details of the cast tree shadow on the building, the red flowers in the windowsills and the skys reflection in the upper window are the perfect touches to make it come alive with such charm. The sky is that perfect Summer color! And I really like the flag waving high above the post office building.
