Related: About this forumHaving my very first art exhibition March and April
I'm in Pope County AR, pretty much ground zero for the total eclipse in April.
Of course the theme is eclipse. I'm honored and terrified at the same time.
I've never tried to sell any of my art so this is kinda scary.
One painting will be of Joe Biden wearing eclipse glasses instead of his aviators.
Advice is welcome! I need to have 7 ready

(566 posts)you love your work, I assume. So go in strong with your work and stand proud. When you love it, they will love it. "They" will be those drawn to you and your vision in your art. Good Luck with this. It all has to start somewhere, be proud.

(11,677 posts)I thought I'd be cool to have Bill Clinton wearing the glasses too. Considering he's the most famous person from Arkansas.
Also, that pic of Nancy in her glasses, wearing the read jacket. Change it to eclipse glasses.
Bernie sitting with his mittens on inaguatuon day ,glasses on.

(1,299 posts)... of the eclipse centered behind the person you love most in this world? Even if it's just their silhouette, you'll know who it is.
That'd be pretty cool.

(11,677 posts)I'd have a hard time letting it go though

(1,299 posts)... NOT FOR SALE. If someone likes it enough, it might be a shot at a commission. Worth a try.
Congratulations, and good luck!

(11,677 posts)Half the proceeds go to our local Art Center.
Supporting a rural Art Center is pretty awesome. I hope all the visitors during the eclipse will check it out and possibly make some donations.
I'm trying to work with the local hotels to allow artwork displayed in their lobbies. Lots of amazing artists here could easily fill the easels.

(35,451 posts)You have to have an image hosting site, upload it there, then link to it here. I use imgur.
