Musty smell in books.

I think we've covered this before, but the brain isn't clicking in for me. I found a book yesterday that is only about 25 years old, but has a musty smell. An exact copy recently sold for $75 on ebay, so I want to get that odor out. Any suggestions? I've currently got it in a sealed bag with a little bowl of baking soda.

2. I have good luck with Lysol.

I spray in the air above the book and fan the pages as the mist settles. Do this at least several time and more for really bad ones. Works fine.

3. That's an interesting idea. I've got some Oust so maybe I'll try that.

4. I've tried talcum powder.

But then you end up with smudges of it that could end up reported to DHS. Ha!

I don't recommend talcum.
