antique show withdrawal
It happens about the middle of January. I start to suffer from antique show/garage sale/doll show/collectibles show withdrawal. At some point on a Saturday in February, I wake up thinking I want to go garage saling. But it's snowing outside! I have to suffer for the next three months, until the middle of April when the season starts up again.
There are a few indoor antique shows during the winter in the Midwest, but they aren't as fun as the outdoor ones. And shopping online isn't nearly as entertaining.
The feeling really is a mild form of withdrawal. There is an ongoing craving, especially on the weekends.
Does anyone else experience this?

I'm chomping at the bit right now getting my fix at the local thrift store. I don't care for antique shows much either. It's no fun if the treasures have already been discovered.

Next month, the same venue holds a HUGE garage sale. Hundreds of vendors. I've never been to that; it might be fun.
