Can anyone tell me how to find a local eBay seller?
Since I may move in the near future, there are some things I would like to sell. I can have a yard sale with the ordinary stuff but need someone to sell some of my things on eBay.
For the life of me, I cannot find anything on the eBay site to direct me to people in my area who act as agents for a customer.
What am I missing? There must be something to click on where you could enter your zip code to find sellers in my area. Anyone know how to access these sellers?
Thanks,
PR

(50,130 posts)It's an interesting story. Might get some ideas from there.

(7,504 posts)I have searched my area for sellers but cannot seem to find anything on eBay to click on to tell me who, in my neck of the woods, has an on line shop.
I am going to consign some of my stuff to a shop not far from me but there are a couple of things that need a more broad based audience.
I am very frustrated with the eBay format. How can they not make it easy for a potential consignor to find someone in the area to sell their merchandise? I can't for the life of me find somewhere to click that would tell me who to contact in my area. The search continues.

(32 posts)Because there was another selling asst program that ebay phased out,
but you could check the one below to see if it's still viable/ meets your needs.
(I'm on a phone so have trouble accessing the whole ebay site.)

But they don't sell everything and 30% of the sale is deducted.
Could you do a city or zip code search on ebay to see if there are any sellers in your area?
Dicey, but there's also craiglist to advertise for a seller.
Would you sell on Amazon?
Good luck- I hope that you find a way to sell your things.

(50,130 posts)You might want to do that, too, but be careful.
I did see on google that there is a consignment eBay seller in Plymouth. Old Colony was the name of the outfit, I think.
