Cats do not know what to do when dressed up the first few times

They will fall over.

I imagine it's like when we put on something where the armholes are too tight and it's too tight across the back.

It's a built-in response from when their mother's carried them around by the nape of the neck.

I disapprove of dressing up cats, they hate it and laughing while they express disapproval is just not amusing.

Published in 2009, these are unphotoshopped photos of real cats wearing real wigs designed specifically for cats. The wigs were sold separately in their own, cute little cylindrical wig boxes.

The photographer obviously had a knack for cat wrangling.

re- the cats that just fall over, whether maybe the constriction around their necks and shoulders feels to them kind of like they're being picked up by the nape of their necks, the way cat moms do with their kittens?

But eventually, she got back up and walked around. She got used to it.

It's when i attached a leash thar she rebelled, quite vigorously. She was OK with the harness once she knew that it did not restrict her freedom of movement. But the leash did restrict her and she was having no part of it.

Plus even without the leash he refused to stay outside. I'd leave the harness on in case he tried to run and I needed something to grab on to. All he did was sit by the door meowing and demanding to go in. I thought he'd like to be outside gardening with me since he would sit in the upstairs window watching me.

question everything

Cats and other animals are not put on earth to entertain us. Many circus animals are tortured to perform just so.

I feel for these cats - and I watched just for a couple of seconds - who realize that they have to “behave” to keep their home and food.

I have felt this way every time someone post images of pets in unnatural behavior.

Sorry.
