*** Update #2***For a group of people that really need some good news

Last edited Wed Jan 28, 2026, 04:42 PM - Edit history (2)

The cutiepie runt and the gray boy are safely at the Effingham Vet Clinic.

We captured and delivered Xena, the warrior princess to the vet clinic today.
She is the one that's been living under my trailer with the badly infected tail. They said they would take great care of her. She never made a peep all the way to the vet, a 35 mile one way trip. I think they know that they're going to a better place.
I'm so happy for these babies.

On a side note, Shadow was spayed this morning and is doing well. She gets to come home tomorrow. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

We almost caught the dad, but he's a little wiser lol two down, four to go. Weeeeeeee

I have found a home for all six of Shaddow's siblings and Dad. This includes all shots, neuter/spay and homing through the Effingham Vet Clinic in Effingham, Illinois.

They have agreed after seeing the photos I sent to the woman who founded E.A.R.S. (, Sally Perles less than 4 hours prior hoping for help. She did all this while wintering in AZ so if anyone needs a great cause to donate to, please consider these wonderful folks as they just made a miracle happen for these cute babies.

I feel that for once, I've sort of earned my way if you will, as I felt called to get these kitties off the streets, literally moved to do this so to have this turn out so wonderfully is truly miraculous.

I've felt what I'm feeling right now before. When everything went right for those few days with my friend Rory, I felt the hand of God as I'm feeling it now.

I can't begin to tell you how much this is affecting me right now. I've been crying because I'm realizing that these babies are all that have kept me from a depressive despair for these last 6 weeks or so, literally the only thing getting me out of bed is knowing they need food.

I'm sorry to go on like this, but please believe in Hope, I swear, I've been putting this energy out into the universe for these kitties, and the answer came. Please embrace your hopes, even if only one, one that you won't let go of, and know dreams come true. Ideas come to fruition, hopes to realities.

There's a Harmony that we can experience/achieve, putting pure hopeful, healing energy in a specific direction and letting the Universe be the Conductor.

Sometimes you really can Wish Upon A Star and beautiful people make it come true! My tears of joy flow easily tonight.

Thank you for all your amazing energy, a love that's felt all over the world.

Was priceless by itself. To have them greet me every day with affection and excitement made each trip back there so worth taking.

I'm so looking forward to getting them someplace safe and warm and healthy.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

8. I just want to clarify that I haven't been fostering them, just feeding them and keeping them connected to human touch.

I live in a mobile home and I broke the rules taking Shadow in, I couldn't hold six more in addition to my Petunia, Cuddles and Shadow.

I've been trying to get people to take them but until today, no success.

Beshert (or bashert) is a Yiddish word meaning "destiny," "fate," or "meant to be". It can describe any event, meeting, or circumstance believed to be orchestrated by God.
