I've been interested in paleontology since I was a teen. Wasn't into politics and world leaders until my later years.
We visited a former exchange student in Brazil and I was stunned that my courses in art history were so euro-centric and missed so many artists from other parts of the world. It makes sense that other subjects are likewise ignored.

(166,218 posts)that were completely trashed by both sides of the political spectrum as "false history" and what little did finally make it to the curriculum, is being systematically purged and "cancelled".
The one thing that has "globalized" the younger generation, is the internet and "social media", allowing real-time communications between people from different countries and exchanges of cultural info without the governmental propaganda overlays. The whole "K-Pop" phenomena is an example that opened up Korean culture to young Americans, where older generations were steeped in the Korean War memories and teachings as well as that associated with Vietnam and even Japan (where Anime and Manga have actually introduced a different take on Euro and other culture, in their storylines).
