Good morning my DU family,

I was petting Rachel Shadow the other day, and look what I found on her coat:

So let's make the Heart a theme today.
So much of what we do involves some variation of "Heart".

Everything from a great effort by an athlete, to a someone surviving against all odds etc...
But most of the heart we put into something happens without accolades, or recognition.

Please give us a day filled with opportunities to put our heart into the little things we do, and then experience the satisfaction knowing we did our best.
Have an accomplished day, and please enjoy the fruits of your hearts efforts.

Love, John

P.S. Shadow has adjusted amazingly well, she's a tough little girl and cuuuute omg lol

Valentines Day.
I’ve been spending more time on DU since the husband was admitted to the Memory Care facility. The evenings are so long with nobody to talk to. I appreciate the upbeat positive messages in your posts. Yes, some things are bad. But at least we have support and friendship here.

Hugs.

I can relate the lonely evenings part, it's comments like yours that inspire me to keep going.
I keep having to remind myself that giving in or giving up is also a choice.
You keep me focused on positive.
