3. There was something called the Mickey Mouse icecream

we ordered at a restaurant people in Ottawa used to go to back in the day. It was a scoop of vanilla ice cream rolled in chocolate sprinkles. Two milk chocolate wafers made the ears. Whipped cream with a cherry on top. A nose and eyes made somehow - I can't remember. We all ordered it every time we went. Including my dad. He said he used to order it when he grandfather took him to the restaurant but the timing doesn't line up for that. Anyway, we ate that sunday for two generations.

9. Just mango.

A po pyu kalay, or maybe a lemon zest mango, or orange sherbet mango. Or imam pasand. Or kook lom krong, or sweet tart. I still have Valencia Pride, cac, and mallika ripening in my garden and any of them would do. And a side dish of vanilla ice cream with sapodillas, probably morena. The vanilla ice cream won't be made from my vanilla beans though. They grow like weeds here but the flowers need hand pollination early in the morning and the beans need an extensive curing process.

Chocolate syrup. As much as I love hot fudge; it melts the ice cream too fast for me. Whipped cream. Chopped walnuts. Bittersweet chocolate chips.

31. I like it all, but it depends on the balloon...

The local mall was quite close to our house as a kid, it was only 2 streets away.

There was an Eckerd Drug Store there with a soda bar and balloons hanging from strings all around the bar. Each balloon had a dollar amount or FREE on a piece of paper inside, pop the balloon and see what you got.

It was always either half price or free.

2 scoops Vanilla, hot fudge, nuts, cherry on each scoop and a soda.

Halfway through I would scoop some vanilla ice cream into the soda…

Your choice would be mine, too, but I'll pick something different.

First, it'll be a banana split. Add one scoop of mint chocolate chip and one scoop of cookie dough ice cream. Chocolate sauce over the ice cream then almond slivers before topping it with whipped cream and two cherries.A chocolate pirouette cookie on the side as a garnish.

I rarely eat ice cream but a boy can dream...
