Why I rarely get eggs in a restaurant, they’re always runny. Plus I can make eggs easily at home! Getting breakfast out I like pancakes or French toast.

break the egg into the skillet, and after the whites have begun to turn opaque, take a knife or fork and drag it around in the part next to the yolk that is still clear. this allows that part of the egg white to drain down to the pan and cook. I always flip mine over, but you can get rid of that thick part of the white.
Another thing I have seen is to spoon the frying fat over the top of the egg. This will cook that part of the white.

Unless I get an omelet, I have ordered that for a restaurant breakfast for 50 years.
That said, now that I don't travel I rarely eat breakfast in a restaurant. Or at all.

Light Oil (almost any kind), medium heat; break the Eggs in the Pan. Break the Yolks, fry until the bottom is firm, then flip and fry until the bottom is firm again. Remove from the Pan and place on a Piece of Buttered Bread, top with another Piece of Buttered Bread. Serve with a Cup of Hot Coffee. Enjoy!

over easy with bacon, hashbrowns and good coffee is my breakfast out. If biscuits are offered, I will get that.

"toad in the hole" (cut holes in bread with cookie cutter, fry the bread in a skillet of hot butter, break eggs into the holes and cook then flip over. Fry the round part that you cut out also.) my granddaughter calls it eggy toast

deviled.

Plain hard boiled eggs, w salt, pepper, and mayo if I have.

Deviled eggs: mayo, a touch of mustard powder, paprika on top.
We didn't have smoked paprika when I was the either deviled egg mix maker, or just the scooper at big family gathering.
I'd definitely have smoked paprika now.

Sides: sausage, bacon, or buttered toast w jam (most jams, not cherry).
