Cognac, triple sec, and champagne. It’s a variation on the French 75, named for, of all things, the 75mm workhorse artillery piece of the French Army during World War I.
It’s good. It could hardly fail to be; cognac and champagne. What’s not to love?

(70,046 posts)75mm, 100mm, 125mm, 150mm, and so on. It’s not a hard and fast rule. There are plenty of 90mm and 105mm field pieces out there.

(70,046 posts)Saddam Hussein bought scads of weapons from whomever would sell them to him. Investing in the maintenance and training requirements was much lower down on the list.
