Didn't teach her. She figured it out when, after several requests over time for my daughter to put toys away when she was done playing with them, I confiscated toys left in living room and she had to 'buy them back' by doing a better job picking up after herself. The dog, no fool by any measure, observed and then decided she did not want her toys ending up on the top shelf of the linen closet, so she started to put her own toys away.

My dog is an aussie, and he's very smart but I'm not much of a trainer. I'd probably have to feed him bites of steak to get him to do this. He doesn't care much for toys, though.

Once had occasion to visit a family with 3 Aussies who had all had litter. Imagine about 29 of them plus their moms all playing in a big yard. The combined IQ would have been off the charts.

Cooper will return toys to her toy box.

She also used to scoop up treats when she wore a cone from being spayed.

He has them all out if his basket and I tell him "Put toys back."
He puts them back, but then one or 2 come right back out.
Sort of a "But, this one goes HERE" thing.

She is only 8 lbs but she takes up most of the couch with her special pillows and blankets.
Where she naps between her three meals a day and lots of special treats.

My dog is a bit on the spoiled side, but she is the perfect little dog.
Loves me to pieces, does everything I ask her to do.
And is no bother at all.

I can see getting a dog to do each thing, but organizing bedding?
Also, someone was there shooting the video in different spots at floor level, so there may have been a lot of prompting.
Still a fun video!
