(3,466 posts)Love the guys hanging out at the bar, like the neck tie with the young lady projected on it, and the guitar solo is an under appreciated classic.
Great rock song and my favorite video! Squeeze not being in the Rock and Roll "Hall of Fame" is a major example of how ridiculous an institution it is.
Thanks again, started my day off with a smile.

Back in the day, it was the best!

I'm jealous that you had a pet dinosaur! It was that video that made me buy the cassette.

(290 posts)I first saw this on a video juke box in the NCO Club in Germany in 1984 and thought that would make a great movie. Duh!, it was from the movie Streets of Fire.

(2,378 posts)In January 1969. There used to be a video on YouTube of the full rooftop concert but it disappeared I guess because of copyright reasons. There are still videos of individual songs from that concert on YouTube, though, and I think you can still see pretty much the whole concert in snippets by watching it one song at a time. It's part of the movie "Let It Be" I think which I haven't seen in decades, if I have an opportunity I'll watch that movie again.

(8,602 posts)Obviously the best part of Let It Be. Can't believe it was 56 years ago. The sense of sheer joy is what makes it so memorable and powerful to me.

(64,697 posts)I prefer the full-length version of the song, but the simplicity of the vid really his me, no matter how many times the song's been licensed to commercials or to terrible giant lizard movies.
