(392 posts)I'm a long-term Trek fan. For the most part, the Star Wars was better.
We do one subscription at a time in this house. We're starting HBO MAX this weekend.

Only got to see the first ?3 seasons and maaaaybe part of S4 of Discovery. Quite enjoyable! Only to end of S2 of Piccard. Through to most of S3 LD. Maaaaybe an ep or two of SNW.
Either by either free streaming, or paid subscription I'll get to see all of them eventually. 😄👍

I'm sure I'll rebinge it at some point. I'll try to remember to pay attention to that it. 👍

(2,239 posts)Took four days to watch all 24 episodes, 12 per season. I recorded them this past summer and was running out of space on my DVR and needed to watch and delete something to clear space.
Don't think I would call that series "good" it is to "good" TV fare what Halloween candy is to healthy food. But, I do enjoy Halloween candy.

(5,088 posts)Its an anime that Ive been making my way through for a few months (148 episodes). Its on YouTube for free with English subtitles, and I think the English overdub version is on Netflix. Im 3/4 of the way through the Chimera Ant Arc and may finally finish the series off today. Its a good one.
Edit: As always, I recommend The Venture Bros. Its on Hulu now, I think. The first season is a little rough, but the animation and storyline gets better as the series progresses. Stick with it and it pays off handsomely. The world- and character-building and plot are top notch. It basically starts out as loving parody of Jonny Quest, Boy Adventurer series, Space Age Super Science and Supervillanry, GI Joe, Hardy Boys, and tons of other comic book, regular book, movie, tv, and music references/inspiration/satire, and it morphs into so much more by the end of the series.

A white layer (Diane Lockhart) featured in the show The Good Wife loses her savings, and instead of being able to retire has to find new work. She ends up at a Black run Law firm.
I actually saw some of the later seasons, but not the early ones. Once I finish these (soon) I might "have to" subscribe to rewatch the rest so I can how it really fully unfolded, and the results.
Great characters, some great stories
