It runs in the family. I'm a rock hound.

My daughter brought out my grandson trick or treating. They walk up to one house the guy says take two. My grandson picks one candy and a rock that was holding down the tablecloth. My daughter told him the man meant two candies.

In Illinois I started hunting Indian beads on the gravel road in front of the house. Went to hunting arrowheads in the fields. Been in oregon the last 8 years and have more rocks then I know what to do with. I have an entire lapidary shop out in the shed lol

I got tons of stuff during the pandemic but only mostly use a few machines. 16" slab saw, 14" drop saw, tilesaw, cabking8, vibralap, vibe tumblers, rock bandsaw, high speed polisher, drill press with water swivel and core bits. It's a little crazy lol. I make pendents and pipes and such when I get down time in the winter
