Friday Night Vodka Buzz. Ask me anything.

Two shots to get the party started. Now, a Royal Palm cocktail. Vanilla rum in a chilled cocktail glass coated with banana liqueur.

I don’t have vanilla rum, so I used coconut rum, instead. Yummy!

I love you all…

If I find something good, I make sure I have the ingredients. If I can’t make an effective substitution for any ingredient I don’t have, I choose another cocktail.

I don’t like runny eggs, no matter how they’re prepared.

BTW, I make the best scrambled eggs ever!

The secret is one tablespoon of cold water for every two eggs, plus one. Whisk rapidly until the egg is frothy. Cook in the pan on low-medium heat until fluffy, but no longer shiny. Add salt and pepper to taste and serve.

Nothing else, except for possibly joining the Army, even comes close. I treasure my status as a liberal war veteran. The repukes love to portray themselves as the ‘real’ Americans. I love waving my liberal beliefs in their traitorous faces.

Perhaps we need a Department of Dope Slaps to mete out some justice.

if you live your life based on the premise you are not better than others simple because of your gender, sexual orientation, skin color, religion, education, financial status, nationality, etc - life is much more pleasant for ALL OF US

And a bonus question: Ian Carmichael or Edward Petherbridge as Lord Peter Wimsey?

I am creating a cocktail for someone who cannot get hold of my favourite ice cream--black raspberry dark chocolate chunk. Simple, obviously, Chambord, chocolate liqueur, cream. Blended with ice for summer, stirred for other times., rimmed with cocoa powder.

Your cocktail invention sounds delicious!

I used to create drinks for the bartenders at the casinos. It was amusing to look down the length of the bar, to see that half the bar had my new drink.

You will have to let me know what you think if you decide to try it.

It was yummy!

I will need to get some Chambord and some chocolate liqueur, but I will let you know when I’ve made one.
