Question about recliners.

I have to buy a new recliner. I've always purchased the La-Z-Boy brand. The backs on these detach from the base, and this makes transporting it upstairs easier.

Does anyone know if this is typical for all brands of recliners?

but I'm currently seeing some really good sales for other brands, and the chairs look really nice (ie: England Furniture, Ashley).

Furniture fucker with an opinion about everything.

(I have two inherited recliners in my living room. Like a lot of furniture, the more you spend the more you get. The La-Z-Boy is comfy and sees my backside often.)
