9. I Saw That

Both at 4am. When I was working, I didn't sleep many hours, so it's possible I was up.
It's just as likely I was in England or Europe where it was 10 or 11am.
Geez, I could have been on Manilla and it was 5pm.
Either way, it's an amazing coincidence that we signed up in the same minute & both of is are still here.

and I always worked every weekend, every holiday

England! You know I spent parts of my childhood there

...near either Manchester or Liverpool.
Was in London 3 or 4 times, but I've been to England around 30 times. All the rest were up north.
I remember you saying you lived there.

23. Actually, I Know What Happened For Me

I used to watch CSPAN Washington Journal on weekend mornings.
They were doing phone interviews with political website owners & I heard David Allen (Skinner) on an interview.
During that week, I checked it out a few times while at work.
That Saturday I used home dial-up to login from home and joined.
By coincidence, August 6 of that year is when 43 got the "bin Laden determined to strike" memo that they ignored.
But, I don't think we knew about that until after 9/11.

30. I had never been involved in social media but Will had told me about DU. I was recovering from major

surgery so I had time to lurk. I did that for a while and I guess on that Sunday morning I decided to join. It's been a mainstay ever since.

I was more of a slowpoke, comfortable at MWO and Bartcop. DU felt overwhelming back then.
