Who among the top 3 contenders for VP is a protector of animals, including farm animals?

1. In terms of taking on food animal production abuses, I don't know that any of them have done so.

I'd believe all have a love for their pets, however.

--That said, given the rising risk of Avian flu transmission via cattle (milk) to humans and other animals and other zoonotic issues, I think all would take on the public health implications with no qualms and listening to the science. So, there is that.

Pennsylvania and Minnesota both have major agriculture including livestock, so their governors cannot be uninformed on these issues. (Important in California as well, Arizona, less so)

I know our current Sec of Agriculture Tom Vilsack isn't especially for farm animals.

Texas has a no testing policy for avian flu. In contrast MN has closed its borders twice due to avian flu.

Even if Walz isn't directly involved he trusts his advisors.

Are any vegetarian?
Have any campaigned against puppy mills?
Have any supported the humane treatment of livestock?
Have any pushed for legislation against the abuse of animals, including carriage horses and dog/cock fighting?
Have any promoted spaying and neutering?
Is that what you mean?
