(19,022 posts)Are you an enthusiast who travels to ride the best ones, Emile? If so, which one do rank #1, and how many do you figure you've ridden?

(27,715 posts)coasters are the wooden ones. My all time favorite is The Beast at Kings Island.
I have lost count how many I have rode. My first big roller coaster rides were at the old Riverview Amusement park in Chicago. The last ones I rode and at age 73 were last summer at Indiana Beach. I haven't been to Cedar Point in quite a few years and they have a lot of new ones that I have never rode. I like to go one more time, but I think my age has finally catching up with me.

I enjoy rollercoasters and other amusement park rides, but my wife gets headaches from them almost immediately now, so I don't indulge as often as I used to.
