(18,870 posts)The last week. The weather has been so pleasant About the same temps as in Marietta, but seems cooler. We're about 12 miles southwest of Lake Erie.

(18,870 posts)Lived in Broadview Heights till I was 17. My parents' grocery store was in Northfield, about halfway between Cleveland area and Akron.
The friend I've been visiting and I have been friends for over 65 years, lived on the same street when we were kids. She inherited the house she grew up in, so when I visit. It's like going home.
The street is still very green and there is a herd of deer that wander through the yard. Marietta is a small town on the Ohio River. I see more deer at my friend's house than in Marietta. Lol

(17,396 posts)Most nights we sleep under blankets and comforters.
We dont have central a/c, but do have a window unit. We only use that a few days a yesr.
We live in central mass. Not in the city though, lots of trees around us.
We do get a lot of dust and pollen in the house, so if allergies are your thing, i get the a/c.
But the cats love the open windows. .

(17,396 posts)Yeah, i can sympathize with that!
We'd be slapping up half splits if we had to deal with that on a regular basis.
Enjoy the chill....
