Pete Hegseth Shouldn't Be Trusted To Run A Pez Dispenser
Trump’s unfit and unqualified cabinet nominees for every role are terrible, but Pete Hegseth is definitely one of the worst.
Since his confirmation hearing is today, I wanted to show why he shouldn’t be trusted to operate a Pez dispenser, much less serve as Secretary of Defense.
This job is a serious one, and there’s no time for any sort of learning curve. Though he did serve in the National Guard, Hegseth has no serious military management experience. There is no comparison to Retired four-star Generals Jim Mattis or Lloyd Austin.
In 2021, Hegseth was removed from National Guard support for President Biden’s inauguration, because he was deemed to be an “insider threat.” It was due to a tattoo he has that’s associated with white supremacist groups. This is not normal.
