The Most Idiotic Thing I Read Today... And It's Dangerous

Written by Ben Meiselas

Chuck Todd wrote the most idiotic thing I’ve read today, and it perfectly encapsulates the problem with corporate media. It’s also a confession. He wrote, “These confirmation hearings may just save cable TV for the short term.”

You see, people like Chuck Todd and their corporate benefactors are losing relevance. Americans are sick and tired of their lazy reporting, blatant lies, “both sides” equivocations, and outright cheerleading for fascism. By ignoring the most obvious lessons of history, corporate media rooted for chaos, drama, torment, crime, and hardship, believing idiocracy and fascism would be good for ratings.

Well, here it is, Chuck Todd. And no one cares about you or your network. In fact, we hold you responsible for forcing this circus upon us.

If Senate confirmation hearings take place at all, we, the people, are not watching them on your network, Chuck.

Why? All we wanted was a la carte programming choices for decades and they would not budge...then streaming came along with cord cutting.

They deserve to fade into irrelevance.

I intimately understand that sentiment.

We get our news online.
We get our entertainment online.

Outside of a VPN and Democratic Underground we don't pay a cent for news and entertainment.

We purposefully avoid 'watching' " "news channels" "... they're a waste of time and energy.

We vote in favor of not suffering to demonstrate that one cares.
Quite the opposite.

We work within our circles of influence...
Keep your head low...
Don't be a 'hero'...

Just do the next good thing....

Any platform that requires me to pay a fee to watch what they want to spew in their chronological order is not getting my cents.

I want to choose what to watch/listen, when I want to, rewind, record (within reason), share bits and pieces.

We will make sure not to tune in to any of it! Years of manipulation and look at you circling the drain!
