JD Vance's Yale Law School Classmates Trying To Derail His Political Career

It's not flattering to the GOP pick for Vice President.

Sigh. So Yale Law School’s own J.D. Vance was selected as Donald Trump’s running mate yesterday. It’s a victory for ass-kissers everywhere, and those who haven’t spent the last few years writing about the very junior senator from Ohio are trying to figure out what the maybe vice president is all about.

Josh McLaurin, a Georgia state senator, was actually Vance’s roommate in law school, and they famously remained in contact after graduation. He posted on social media saying that Vance is “angry and vindictive” and a “perfect fit for Trump’s revenge.”

In case you were unclear how McLaurin *really* feels about Vance, he concludes by saying “JD’s rise is a triumph for angry jerks everywhere.”

[...]

But the best part is, McLaurin isn’t the only Yale Law classmate out there making Vance look petty AF. In 2022, fellow Yalie and and self-described Vance BFF Jamil Javani (who is a piece of work in his own right) said that the critical panning of the movie adaptation of Vance’s book, Hillbilly Elegy, was the “last straw” that turned Vance to the far right. This gives some of the best insight into what turned Vance’s thinking on Trump from “America’s Hitler” to his running mate.

3. I think Putin would love nothing better than to see this guy as president. He knows Trump is in decline.

Vance becomes president after about 2 1/2 years of Trump’s term, runs for reelection, and never leaves the office

And I wouldn't be surprised if another "assassination attempt" took T out early, just to pave the way for Vance to advance even faster. T is do demented and old. Putin will want to start grooming Vance as dictator as soon as possible.

and other "interventions" to streamline his very full face and make him look less like the dork bullies everywhere love to target. That may be a bit of a cruel assessment but I believe it to be true. Look at his photos then and now. Of course, he has now bent the knee to the "supreme bully" and I'd guess he believes that will remove him as a target going forward. Somehow I doubt that.

Still, he seems to be another bent on "revenge" and vengeance for all those "psychological wounds" and is thus both unpredictable and dangerous. If Putin recruited him to "depose" Trump, I'd bet he'd find a way to do so--whether via 25th Amendment or something more deadly. Trump seems oblivious to his own vulnerabilities.

mean Trump will constantly take swipes at him to remind him of his place in the pecking order. If he’s as angry and vindictive as they say, he won’t be able to obediently take it for very long.

... I'm happy to contemplate how this will completely derail Vance's budding political career.
Maybe he'll get a job at Faux Noise after this? I don't know and don't care.
Chump's goose will be cooked and that's all that matters to me.
