While I didn't anticipate the shooting, I didn't discount it either.

I was reading up on Huey Long, another populist politician. He was shot and unexpectedly by his own son-in-law.

In the back of my mind, it wasn't an impossibility of an assassination attempt on either Trump or Biden.

Who was near the podium to the left ?
Saw the crowd member (dead) go down , helped carry him out .
Saw another woman shot in arm and hand

Then said he had observed the area and thought “ this could be an ideal place” for something like this to happen .
