Donald Trump and Joe Biden are nearly tied nationally and in battleground states, new poll says

(USA Today) President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump are neck-and-neck among voters nationwide and in pivotal swing states less than two weeks after Trump's guilty verdict in his New York hush money case.

The poll, released Sunday by CBS News and YouGov, shows 49% of voters across the country would likely support Biden at this point in the election, and 50% would vote for Trump. But when voters from battleground states were asked, 50% would likely vote for Biden, and 49% would likely vote for Trump.

Both results are well within the poll's margin of error of +/- 3.8 percentage points. It includes an oversample in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

The poll was conducted from June 5 to June 7, just days after a Manhattan jury convicted Trump of falsifying business records in an effort to influence the 2016 election.

The Orange Jesus should be 30 points behind in any poll. Sad.

When they talk about percentages of voters, they don't say how big the voting pool was. This is critical to the accuracy of the
poll.

I think people will turn against Trump in November. Convicted felons and rapists aren't welcome in the White House
