SACRAMENTO, Calif. —
Hundreds of teachers from Natomas and Twin Rivers Unified School Districts joined forces for a march across Tower Bridge to Crocker Park on Thursday.

It marked the first time both districts united to amplify their voices in their ongoing strike for better pay and benefits.

The unions have been striking separately for days, with Natomas teachers entering their third day on the picket line.

The teachers began with picket lines at their schools 30 minutes before the bell rang and then joined forces.
