The House of Representatives failed Thursday to override President Donald Trumps first vetoes of his second term.
Trump last month vetoed a pair of bills that would support local infrastructure in Colorado and Florida. Both bills passed unanimously by voice vote in the House and the Senate.
Trumps veto of the Colorado bill infuriated some Republicans from the state, including the bills sponsor, Rep. Lauren Boebert, a close Trump ally. The bill, the Finish the Arkansas Valley Conduit Act, would reduce the payments local communities must make for the construction of a pipeline set to provide clean drinking water to rural communities in Colorado.
This bill makes good ... on President Trumps commitment to rural communities, Boebert said Thursday in remarks on the House floor ahead of the vote.

They need 2/3rd to override which would have been 290 (assuming a full 435 were there but I know there are 3 vacancies), so 288 if all the rest voted.
