For Trump and Republicans in Congress, 'everything is in play' on tax cuts

Source: Washington Post

President-elect Donald Trump is poised to push swiftly for new tax cuts if Republicans win full control of Congress, further slashing corporate rates and extending trillions of dollars of other cuts even as the national debt soars.

Major portions of Trump’s 2017 tax law are set to expire next year, and Republicans are aiming to give Trump a major legislative accomplishment within his first 100 days in office.

The GOP won control of the Senate in Tuesday’s elections. While control of the House is still uncertain, Republicans are optimistic that results are trending toward maintaining their narrow majority.

As party leaders discuss their plans for the early days of a new Trump administration, the attitude that’s emerged on taxes is, “Just go,” according to a top conservative lobbyist familiar with the discussions, speaking on the condition of anonymity to describe private talks. “Rip the Band-Aid and run and just plow it through.”

This, of course, was their plan all along. How does that work for you, Trump voter?

Well, we will. But they will be applauded for being so great. And then they will take credit for all good economic news that's left over from Biden. Sheeple will just chew on the tax cut cud, oblivious.

Plus all the job losses as there won't be money to hire workers and other government workers then there are cuts to military spending which will happen eventually which will lead to more job losses.
Theb there are the cuts to Social Security which will take billions out of the economy and more job losses in various retail stores such as grocery stores including Walmart.
Finally we come to the factory and farmers as without people having money to buy things you'll see farmers losing their farms and factory workers losing their jobs.
That's the real trickle down that's going to happen and all the while the MAGA morons will piss and moan that it's all the governments fault when really it's all theirs.

That govt funding for school lunches, EBT and wic puts money in their pockets. Cut those programs and demand for the farmers crops go down. Complaints about handouts, when those handouts pass through multiple hands in the community.
