Kamala Harris Hugs It Out With Sobbing Supporter In PA: 'We're Going To Be Fine'

Source: MEDIAite

Vice President Kamala Harris visited a small business on Saturday in Pittsburgh where she comforted a sobbing supporter.

Ahead of her upcoming ABC News debate with former President Donald Trump, Harris emerged from her debate preparation to greet supporters at a local business in Pittsburgh, where one supporter began sobbing upon meeting the vice president.

Harris can be heard reassuring the unnamed female supporter by telling her “we are all in this together.” “It’s going to be good. We’re going to be good. We’re going to be fine. We’re going to be fine. We are all in this together,” Harris says. “We’re going to be strong.”

Harris then greets other supporters gathered at the store, including a woman claiming to be a lawyer in Pittsburgh who told Harris, “I just admire your work so much.” The woman and Harris try to take a selfie together but the supporter notes “Oh, my God, I’m shaking” before asking for someone else to take the photo with a more steady hand.

Has been breaking us emotionally for years.
I feel like the women I know have battered wife syndrome and now someone has opened the door and said “Follow me onto the future “ and we are NOT GOING BACK.

that there are probably millions of us with PTSD from having to live through Trump's administration, and his never ending lies and scandals since we kicked him out of office. We all are scared to death of losing our democracy and having to live in a nazi/russian satellite state under Trump; every generation has specific items under Project 2025 that impacts them personally; and I know no Seniors who aren't terrified of them stripping our Social Security and Medicare out from underneath us - not to mention, most of us have grandchildren and worry what kind of a world we're leaving them... and want to personally kick DonOld Trump in the ass for causing all this anxiety and worry.

The poster who replied that it was like a woman finally going to a battered woman's shelter speaks for me. That's exactly how I feel... and I already went through that once in my life. I really didn't need to close out the last part of my life reliving the pain and anxiety I felt when going thru it early in my adulthood. I think all of us who have suffered under him should get compensation for the pain and suffering he has put us through - and still continues to put us through by running for office again as well as doing everything he can to delay and deny justice in the criminal and civil court systems.

I'll bet this had an impact on Kamala.

She and Tim probably have no idea how meaningful it is for us to see two competent, intelligent people with experience headed for the executive office. Especially people who really watch, like those of us here at DU.

My thought was that the woman was crying because it's such a relief to see a normal, compassionate human running for president.

No wonder other people were crying right along with her: it is a sick situation with our corrupt, money-hungry chickensh!#t media constantly playing clips of this effing idiot trump yammering out insults, degrading people, etc.

What's really awful is listening to the crowds cheering and clapping at the horrible things he says. It is so troubling to think there are that many people who think his cruelty is funny and cheer it on. I shudder when I hear it.

Now me--I had my moment, too, but it came with Tim Walz. It was when I was watching Tim speaking. I teach public speaking and I hadn't realized how much I missed a good, rousing public speaker who believes in the things he or she says. That's Tim: he believes in his heart what he says. It's really rare, though, to find it to the magnitude expressed by Tim.

It is such a relief to have these two.
