(31,411 posts)I will make my donation after I get home, later. I need time to think about who needs the love and attention on DU. Some need it more than others.
This is always fun. It is like a mini Christmas, when I buy and make presents for people.

(28,158 posts)Perhaps next year to help raise money for a good cause you guys could add a new dimension to the hearts. Make it $1 to give a heart (love the low price BTW!) and $5 to take one away from a member?
Then when members get in a spat, instead of tossing insults back and forth they could pay up to yank a heart from the other member! Imagine what that could do to the dollar amount of the final donation!
Don't yank my hearts, I'm only kidding!

(1,412 posts)some Hearts , but need to pay with a USPS money order, it that possible? Thanks so much for this thread and supporting PP.

(63,645 posts)You can pay by credit card, or I believe you can set up a eCheck from your bank account.

(1,412 posts)I will try this tomorrow. Thank you to the person who gave me a heart!
I am a Breast Cancer Survivor & thriving..This latest assault on women's health by the extreme right wing that has infiltrated Komen, is a travesty for many of us. Planned Parenthood serves all of us and doesn't discriminate.
I Love Linda, she tells it straight, "What Breast Cancer is, and what it is not". You won't see this honesty in a Komen advertisement. They don't want to dirty up the cute pink ribbon image. This is the truth, this is the image thousand's of women see when they look in the mirror, including me. I hope no one is offended that I posted this video.

(5,158 posts)Planned Parenthood is a wonderful organization and they need all the help they can get right now. I just made a donation, and hope that all those who can afford to donate will do so. I would also love for this to be a yearly thing.
