Oakley to seek re-election
Jill McBrayer Oakley announced she will seek re-election for Albertville City Council Place 2.
For over a decade, Oakley has served our community on the Albertville City Council. As a lifelong resident, she has been deeply committed to ensure Albertville remains a vibrant, thriving, and welcoming place for all of us to call home.
Oakley serves as the President of the Albertville Parks and Recreation Foundation, member of the Capital Planning Committee for Albertville City Schools, Board of Directors for Marshall County RSVP and the Board of Directors for Marshall County Tourism & Sports. She is a 2015 graduate of Marshall County Leadership Challenge and has been involved with Albertville City Schools Foundation, and Albertville High School Band and Show Choir booster and officer.
A graduate of Samford University with a Master’s of Science in Biology and Chemistry, she worked as an instructor at Snead State Community College, and served as the Quality Control Lab Manager for the former Gold Kist Poultry.
