When the Alabama Legislature meets for a yet-to-be-called special session in the next few weeks, it will apparently do so with few, if any, COVID-19 restrictions.
House Speaker Mac McCutcheon told Alabama Public Televisions Capitol Journal that he expected a special session to address the states prison issues before the end of the month.
On Monday, Statehouse officials said there are no planned restrictions at this time for that session, and they dont expect any.
Pat Harris, the Secretary of the Alabama Senate, said that right now his only plan was to hang signs informing visitors that those who arent vaccinated need to wear a mask.

(24,100 posts)Time to let the murderous asses fulfill their wishes and kill themselves & others like them - while regular people stay far away. Alabama home games should be real breeders too, hopefully lots of pols will go.

They do not care about the economy - the cost of protracted pandemic and huge hospital bills that should have been avoided
Right now, they just want either to a) deny the pandemic or b) make Biden look bad
How anyone can stay a Republican in this climate is beyond me
