How many Alabama students attend private schools?

More than 85,000 students in Alabama attend one of 450 private schools in the state. The vast majority of these schools – about 78 percent – are religiously affiliated. The average attendance is $6,133 for elementary schools and $7,044 for middle and high schools, according to privateschoolreview.com.

I have another question. An obvious question.

1. It's still like that in Farmville VA

FarmVille schools were part of the Brown v. Board suit. As I understand it's still pretty much that the white kids go to private school (different levels of cost) and the non-whites go to public school.

3. Hillary Rodham went to Alabama in 1972 to work on a project

with Marian Wright Edelman to investigate whether tax dollars were being used to support private "segregation academies." Betsy DeVos will be happy to funnel more of our money in the form of vouchers to support academic Apartheid.

4. A few years back, saw an Independent School playoffs at Troy (State) University.

It was scary, the lack of diversity. Looked more like a Klan rally.

And this was football in Alabama!
