Platner's Daniel Moraff Barred from Summer Lee's Campaign Over Sexual Misconduct Complaints

Payday Report has learned that Moraff was barred from Lee’s campaign following at least three complaints of sexual misconduct leveled against him, leading Lee to ban Moraff not just from his previous leadership positions in her campaign, but from even attending campaign events for Lee.

In the winter of 2022, consultants working for the group Justice Democrats, was assisting Lee, told activists, staff, and volunteers to stop communicating with Moraff, despite his repeated attempts to contact them to influence Lee’s campaign.

Given that both Lee and Justice Democrats were refusing to work with Moraff after multiple sexual misconduct claims against him, questions are raised about what people in the movement should have done to address these

activists in the Labor movement about Elk's objectionable behavior toward them. Kim Kelly in particular has named Elk as a harasser. There are others who have shared their experiences, but anonymously or through third parties.

Forgot to mention that Elk originally reported that only "Zionists" objected to Platner's totenkopf tattoo. I mean FFS!

4. I wouldn't be surprised to see Moraff resurface on Republican campaigns next cycle

I think Platner was a useful idiot rat fuck, and I think Moraff was behind it in coordination with Republicans. Collins' entire campaign was built around attacking Platner's personal history. If her campaign knew it, then Moraff knew it, and he pushed Platner anyway.

Moraff is a hardcore POS and needs to be out of politics.
