Its not the first time an elderly elected official has been unable to show up for an extended period and it wont be the last.

(4,273 posts)At that age and poor health, there is little chance of surviving CPR. I don't recall her ever being taken by ambulance to a hospital unconscious after CPR.

(46,450 posts)The post I responded to did not assume he's dead -- just the opposite. It made the point that if he's unable to do the job he should be kicked out of be compensated only by medicare and social security.

one among many Democrats who called, wrote and emailed Dianne Feinstein thanking her for her many years of service and begging her to retire and experience a few peaceful years. .

This is a GOP issue. Let them deal with it. From the Democratic perspective it ain't broke and doesn't need fixing.
