As someone who supports a two state solution and dignity for Israelis and Palestinians I am just crestfallen. 10/7 definitely needed to be addressed and addressed forcefully, but his heavy hand created new enemies. And hitching his wagon to the malignant Chauncey Gardiner in the White House in the war against Iran only to see it go sideways and have Trump point the finger at him has all the stuff of tragedy- hubris, vanity, and incompetence. He should resign.

I feel like they have the goods on him, and they were holding it over his head. Trump has the sword of damocles hanging over him by an incredibly tiny string, and they are ready to cut it if he's no longer a pliant partner. I don't think Trump would have done anything in Iran had they not slid some pictures across the table and told him it was in his best interest to fight this war for them.
