A few days ago, I bought some gas at a 7/11 close to my home. I paid $5.10 per gallon for 87 grade.
This is in Colorado.

(17,890 posts)That hurt bad enough. it cost me $41.50 to fill up a Subaru. I would hate to be paying over $5 like some people. I'm sure I will be eventually.

There are some cheaper options, but those are the sketchy places, where the card skimmers are questionable.

Say about 4 liters per gallon
So, diesel at 95.5 pesos per liter
And 95.5 pesos is about 1.55 dollars
Then 4 times $1.55 is about $6.20 per gallon (diesel)

12.163 gallons was $69.07... ouch. Good thing I don't drive too much.

(38,776 posts)The price around here jumped to $4.99 at most stations within a single day (so fast that Gas Buddy couldn't keep up with it). It has slowly dropped to around $4.79 last night. (I haven't been out yet today.)
