I mentioned before on another thread, I feel sick for the two astronauts who were in the space station for 9 months because of problems with their recovery. Hope they’re ok.

I was glued to the TV for all the Apollo missions. No Gene Kranz smoking like a chimney.

Around West/West North and saw an inbound object glinting that went out about 15 seconds before they announced blackout over, coming in at around 30/25 degree altitude at a low angle.
Part of the benefit of living in San Diego.
(Retired Navy Chief here, done plenty of lookout watches in my time during firing and tracking exercises)

Perfect landing. No promised Sonic Boom, though.

And damn, forgot where my North was, was looking west-southwest, lol.
Just north of the Coronados where the yellow jacks are running right now.
Perfect evening ocean fishing weather....

It’s 1:11am here in England and now I can go to bed. Challenger and Columbia really wrecked us Xennial and Milennial kids.

It just got away from me in my sleep-deprived haze.

Ugh. I'm a wreck. Thank god it's the weekend.
