Trump needs to be removed so that a rational person can be in charge of negotiating with the Iranians.
Trump got us into this war irresponsibly without consulting with allies, the American people or Congress. He ignored the advice of the generals. Iran is a rogue nation where the leadership apparently believes that Allah wants them to destroy Israel. Trump could just walk away and leave them in control of the Strait of Hormuz, or he could senselessly continue the war possibly sending in ground troops. The word coming out is that Vance was against the initial aggression.
