Is that Orban has rigged the electoral system so badly, even changed the constitution, that the opposition needs to win around 2/3 of the vote to win. Last election Orban got less than 50% of the vote but still "won" 2/3 or Parliamentary seats, giving him the supermajority to continue to fuck with rules and laws - essentially putting him above the law.

And Hungary is as much divided as the U.S. Orban's base is demographically similar to Trump's and just as bigoted and easily led. I'm pinning my hopes on young people, where Orban's support has dropped to 14%! And the people of Budapest of course.

But as an expat-Hungarian, I am still worried that the opposition still doesn't have enough votes to overcome this. Hope I am wrong.
