Trump's low but not low enough approval numbers.

Right now they remain in the low 40%s and disapprove in the upper 50%s (mostly strongly disapprove).
The question is why aren't they lower.
I think there are three groups.
True MAGA who love his fascist regime and don't care or love the harm he does.
People who see what he is doing and ignore it because it doesn't affect them. As long as they are doing well, fuck everyone else.
People who are willfully ignorant of what this monster is doing but voted for him.

Not sure of break down. But it's probably one of the three.

...for quite a while, that the floor is 30%.
25% are in the cult, the other 5% are libertarians who just care about low taxes.
He's at around 38% now, so 62 of the other 70% disapprove. (~88.5% relative)
His "low" is lower than many think it is.

I have a feeling his approval will sink below the MAGA floor. The Podcasters feel their base turning and they got a lot of pull.

Maybe part of that 5% gets fed up.
But, for the other 25%, I have a feeling the idiot king will blame Biden and those suckers will accept it as fact.

14. During W's administration, I started to feel 25% would excuse any republican or right wing policy

No matter what the effects were. I came up with. It seems that if you add Trump to the equation, 10% more will act in blind allegiance. If you add in effective propaganda or messaging, you can get another 10%. Obviously, my numbers are based more on subconscious and conscious calculations based on limited facts, but our minds have to digest information the best we can. This is the best my mind can do until enlightened by a more structured analysis.

7. The question and burns me more is why isn't everyone focused on the very high disapproval numbers?

Disapproval over 50%, especially with most of those being strongly disapprove" is fundamentally not consistent with a properly functioning democracy. I've never seen this level of sustained disapproval, and even bewilderment at just wtf is going on.

The white collar workplace has always been a place where people avoid politics, and when it does come up, it's filled with polite deference to views on the opposite side of the aisle. Not anymore. Where I work, people openly talk about what a ridiculous governmental environment he has created, how impossible it is to plan or predict because of him, how we all need exit plans and which countries are people getting dual citizenship in, etc.

This guy is wildly unpopular but the medua talks instead about the approval numbers as if slight above 40% vs in the 30s vs even the low 30% are somehow the important and relevant numbers.

I'm sick of the media focusing on how the minority of Americans who are magats feel. They need to start paying attention to the very, very pissed off majority.

when Biden was in office, they talked to Trump voters. When Trump is in office, they talk to Trump voters.

Sigh. It's intentional propaganda. Just like the corporate media won't respond to anything until a republican objects. Then it's real pushback, and they need to cover it. But if it's just Ds objecting, it's met with a collective shrug.

When it was always pretty obvious it would result in zero indictments.

Then Donnie actually gets convicted of 34 felonies and were told it's yesterday's news and no one cares.
