Zekey is responding to the medications and moving around a lot more. He's not just lying down after a few steps. He's eating more (still less than normal but he was prescribed an appetite stimulant and he's perking up some. ) please keep my sweet old man on your thoughts. Hoping things continue to improve. Knocking on my desk!

(1,150 posts)For sharing the good news on Zeke's health. I have gone through those scary cat illnesses, so it really mean a lot to me to read about Zeke's improvements. (Even tho it is not recommended, we fed our cat Gerber Turkey baby food when he was failing to eat. It seemed to help him. But I confided in a friend that I felt guilty for scooping up the last few jars on the shelf, in case someone needed it for their baby. My friend said, "So what! You bought it for your baby!" That friend is a keeper.) Hope your baby is well soon.

(5,782 posts)Anything to keep our babies near for a little while longer. I just had some of our famous snuggle time with my 15 y/o Petunia, who loves my chin baths more than anything on earth and she just got 20 minutes worth.
Priceless
