The Iranian regime is stupider than I thought

Maybe it is because there are no women in power in Iran, but I can't believe there is not a Delcy Rodriguez-type somewhere in the regime that realizes how easy it is to manipulate Trump. Iran should do what Rodriguez did, cut a deal to give Trump, personally, a piece of the Iranian oil revenue. Do that, and Trump would let the Iranians do whatever they want.

Trump is a mob boss. Pay him, and he will go away. Threatening to fight a long war is just stupid on their part.

2. Trump is a terrible negotiator

Trump's comment yesterday that he would talk to anyone effectively cut the knees out of any domestic opposition to the current regime. So Trump simultaneously proved he can't be trusted, but also bid against himself by offering to talk because now the domestic opposition is likely to stand down. Trump gave up a key negotiating point in return for nothing. He really just sucks.

It was probably very easy for the US and Israel to infiltrate. Israel has likely had people on the inside for years.

The ayatollahs actions over the last several weeks also showed how weak he was. He likely had little support left after killing so many people.
