Trump seeks new nuclear deal with Iran.

Why would they agree after Trump withdrew from the 2015 nuclear agreement between Iran, the US, China, UK, and Russia.

Trump has a history of not honoring our country’s agreements, even his own.

During his first term, he renegotiated NAFTA; however, in 2025 he called his own agreement “a bad deal” and imposed tariffs on Canada and Mexico.

And then there are his threats to take Greenland, thereby pulling us out of NATO (Putin’s dream).

The man just cannot be trusted to keep his word or the word of the United States.

...with China, France, Germany, Russia, the United Kingdom, and the United States--with the European Union (EU) also playing a key coordinating role--the JCPOA was hammered out and finally signed in 2015.

Turnip and Republicans promptly shot it out of the sky like the last member of a rare and beautiful bird species they just HAD to stuff and hang on the wall of their hunting lodge.

Republicans are now incapable of doing ANYTHING more complicated than a second-grade connect the dots picture of a dinosaur they don't believe ever existed because they aren't mentioned in the Bible.

Can ANYONE imagine this Administration working on something in good faith for years?

Can ANYONE imagine this Administration having the trust of those same partners--or any others--now?

Of course not.

So, whatever comes out of the White House on a new nuclear deal with Iran will be every bit as "comprehensive" as The Great Healthcare Plan they just put out--not even a concept of an outline of an actual plan....

And, it will be taken about as seriously by the rest of the world--a world that is now resigned to the fact that America is no longer a reliable ally; or really just reliable at all.....

I am sure they are digging deeper bunkers, repairing the centrifuges damaged in our raids and will continue on a bad path. Maybe if there is meaningful regime change it turns our okay but if Iran just overturns the theocracy but folks from the Revolutionary Guard or similar become the new government, it does not get better.

Man can't come up with an original idea. He keeps trying to steal every other president's legacy.
