What resonates for Trump is Hitler--

-Got shit done
-Suppressed, even killed people who opposed him
-Built a police force to foment chaos on the streets, leading to greater authoritarian control
-Demanded loyalty at all costs
-Banned opposition political parties
-Controlled information and what was said about him, and would persecute anyone who said anything "wrong"
-Ruled with an iron fist, freedom was by his decree only and there was no prospect of social democracy
-Took what he wanted
-Got rid of who he didn't want

How are we doing so far? Only thing missing is a "Trump Youth" organization. Turning Points doesn't count, nefarious as they are.

Apparently one guy used a tracker to locate the truck belonging to his father who was kidnapped by ICE. He found an off-duty ICE thug driving around in it.



ETA: Perhaps the reason they're so quick to resort to criminality is that most of them had more experience in criminality than in law enforcement when they were recruited. There seems to be a lot of well-researched reporting (esp. by the Guardian) to support that hypothesis.
