can understand how it affects us all, make MAGAts understand that the fact they voted for the convicted felon it does not exempt them from the consequences of his crimes, they will suffer too.

Campaign hard, be ruthless with the truth, start planning to rebuild everything trump has and continues to destroy, make republicans feel guilty and ashamed (I know, its not easy, they are shameless) but with enough campaigning it can be accomplished, people need to hear the truth, make it simple for all to understand (I repeat myself but that is incredibly important), use the money to have billboards all over the country, make sure to go on TV any time you can, including Fox News, and be ultra prepared for the MAGAts on TV to fight you hard, to not allow you to talk, but you must talk louder.

Throw legislation out there to combat the crimes, even if they don't pass make sure the country knows and understands that it is republicans who are against truth, honesty, and the good of the people, that it is republicans who continue to be accomplices of the crimes being committed by trump and his minions.

Impeach the bastard, use the 25th Amendment, it is OK to put Vance there for a while, he is very unpopular, has no charisma and will not last long. Despite his education from Yale, he is stupid enough to also commit a crime in no time, then he too can be impeached, and I believe that even republicans will vote against him to take him out of office.

CAMPAIGN HARD!

And there is more, but I stop here, you are welcome to add to the list...

but thankfully they are not really half the country, maybe a quarter to a third at most. That is tied up with the churches, they've been convinced that the orange one has been sent to save them (yes, they are crazy, but I digress). Reaching moderates is a lot more likely to be fruitful, which is why I'm supporting James Talarico here in TX.

Impeach him? Of course. But we do not have the majority. If we can actually have an election and get enough seats then we can move (and I expect the party to be ready). The job now, on the ground, is to try to keep them from stealing the midterms.

My point is that we can't count on a weakened party to save us. It's going to take all of us in the streets. And we've already moved beyond "peaceful". One thing I do think we can do is support Indy media - folks like Meidas Touch & Aaron Parness are breaking through and reaching millions. Countering the regime's propaganda is a big job, but it's something we don't have to rely on the party to try to do. We can each do that with paid subscriptions (if able) and sharing the free posts so they get widespread visibility. I've read that the Black Panthers are active in Philly right now, and we need that energy across the country.

So, I guess I do agree that it's 2-pronged (at least - there are probably more prongs):
1. What we'd like the party to do when they have a majority again
2. What we can do on the ground to affect national opinions, influence conversations, and ensure that elections actually happen (ie organize - do what we can where we can - Indivisible, Black Panthers, etc

ps - and I did want to thank you for taking the question seriously - this is just a starting point - we need to mobilize

We have shown the world that one branch of the government can behave lawlessly and the other two won’t stop him.

Even if we are able to go back to the status quo, we will still not be trusted. The Democrats can’t stay in power indefinitely. The next Republicans in power might do the whole thing all over again.

It’ll take decades (if ever) before we are trusted enough to have a major influence on the world stage again.

Feel free to call me naive. The U.S. military will not let Trump destroy NATO. We have spent the last 80 years creating and nurturing NATO as much to shield us as to protect western Europe. The military is made up of a very large number of smart well educated people. They understand the consequences better than anyone. They would refuse to carry out an insane order to attack Greenland and in turn our allies.

Of course that's a coup which will be staged in defense of the Constitution, NATO and world stability. That is how dangerous Trump is. He doesn't have to nuke the world to crash it. His insatiable thirst for power can crash everything with one intemperate move if the military lets him have his way. We just saw during the Covid pandemic how delicate world stability really is. Also remember it is only American power, coupled with NATO and our Asian allies, that keeps China and Russia from running amok.

I guarantee that if it comes to a choice between Trump's crazy shit or stability under the military, the bankers are going to back the military. I know that sounds beyond crazy. But that is how close we really are to the edge of chaos.

Russia and China would have to see this as an opportunity. US bases close, Russia can grab more real estate.
Is Trump going to save Taiwan? He'll have too many other problems.

It would be a very unstable situation. The major military powers in the world may see it as an opportunity to grab countries from the vacuum that was NATO.

Very dangerous situation with Trump itching to fire some nukes at someone.

NATO is an economic generator “free trade”.
Trade has already been disrupted. Along with our business of our government.
What is our national deficit? It seems Republican leaders lean away from balancing the budget. And, take away from “we the people” and give it to the rich. And there goes the nation debt service payment.
