I'm normally quick to defend us to foreigners (faults and all), even for some of the less than inspiring moments in our history. I really have to give up at the moment though.

what a downer for the American performers or in the audience.

I don't personally care about wrestler's fee-fees

Americans in the audience? Meh. They should damn well know why this is happening.

The other side is going to manifest this year when the world abandons the World Cup matches in the US (not so much in Canada and Mexico).

Let's get real, who the fuck from any civilized country would come to this shithole, especially at high-security sporting events patrolled by heavily armed failed Garda job applicants?

The Olympics are also likely to be another self-induced face-plant.

They start in a month (in Italy). Gotta believe the reception for the US will not be good which is unfortunate for the athletes themselves who don't support Trump.

Yes, but the horrific government was put in place by the people who vote GOP, so don't let Americans off the hook. Look around you in your daily travels. I see an awful lot of people who are just plain ignorant, uncivil and self -centered assholes.

At a boxing match, but no. It's wrestling in Perth WA. Not sure if this audience is representative of most Aussies but when you've lost the wrestling fans, what's left?
